Stipend Details

The fellowship encompasses a stipend of 18,000 INR, along with accommodation provided by Vastukul.

Incentives:

  • Certificate of Appreciation: A certificate will be awarded upon the successful completion of the fellowship.
  • Stipend: The fellowship includes a stipend. However, the responsibility for accommodation and food lies with the fellow.
  • Letter of Recommendation: Issued at our discretion, a letter of recommendation will be provided in cases of substantial and satisfactory work.
  • Future Opportunities: The possibility of future opportunities or an extension of the fellowship will be contingent on your conduct throughout the fellowship.

We welcome applicants from the field of Architecture, civil, construction, or similar fields with a passion for teaching.

Yes. Fellows will receive a stipend ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000 per month for the entire grassroots work period. Additional investments cover courses, reflective activities, immersive programs, mentorships, and a certificate upon successful completion.

The fellowship structure is unique, promoting architecture and construction skills in rural youth. Fellows undergo training from mentors, accompanied by course modules and reading materials.

Fellows conduct skill development programs in architecture and construction through course modules, workshops, and site visits. Technical training and skill enhancement are provided as needed by the host organization and the fellowship.

The course module is a condensed version of the 5-year architecture course, spanning 3 months. It covers practical knowledge and skills in areas like electrical and plumbing services, building materials, construction, basics of interior and landscape design, etc.

Fellows follow organizational guidelines for holidays. Breaks apart from the scheduled fellowship training are discouraged, and fellows are expected to adhere to organizational rules and regulations.

After online training, fellows report to their respective towns by February 7, 2024, for an induction training on February 8, 2024. There is no break in between, so fellows are advised to prepare and travel accordingly.

Fellows are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and food during the fellowship. The Vastukul team assists in finding accommodation.

Yes, carrying a laptop is mandatory for presentations, lectures, and virtual learning.

No. In case of non-completion of the fellowship tenure, candidates will not be provided with any certification.
